More life for ’88 3.0 engine?

I have an '88 4 Runner, 6cyl/3.0 with 272K miles. It still runs great but it has lost a lot of power.

What is the most cost efficient way to get some power back?

Ring job? other?

All suggestions welcome!

Overhaul?? Has it had the headgasket issue fixed?
