I installed a k&n filter n my '04 4.0 and saw a filter looking thing right after the k&n. Is this for noise or what?? can I remove it cause it looks like all it is doing is restricting air flow. I'm using this vehicle to tow my '84 toy p/u 2 alaska and need all the power and gpm i can get thanks 4 the help peaceout
MY other toyota is a ford as well !!!!!
