Has anyone wired an ipod into your factory radio (2003-05 4runner)? I searched crutchfield and found Peripheral's ipod adaptor that plugs into the back of the factory radio. I also foundtwo by icarkits (I-Toyota-R & ipod2car). All are in the $140-$160 range.
Has anyone tried them? Do they work? Can you use the radio to switch ipod artisits/tracks/etc?
How hard to get the radio out? Any short cuts/advice on removing the radio?

Any cheaper alternatives to wire the ipod to the stereo?

they work well and it will allow u to charge the ipod also.
full controllability is done on the oem radio.
