I own a 1989 Toyota 4Runner SR5 3.0 L V-6

For some reason the steering is not working right. It makes right turns just fine, but when itcomes to making a left turn it will only go about 1/3 of the of the distance that it is supposed to turn. It is recirculating-ball steering. If anybody has any clue as to what I need to do to fix this please let me know.
