Dear All:

Hello. I'm from the Philippines and recently just bought a 1997 Toyota 4Runner limited from an ex-pat. It is on a tip top condition and the only problem about it is that when I replaced the car battery, the stereo system locked itself and cannot function anymore. I inquire how to unlock it but to no avail. I do not have the stereo manual nor remote control (is there a remote control for the stereo?) to fix the problem. I think if you call the Toyota dealer and give them your VIN # they should give you the pin code to unlock the radio. If they do make sure to keep it in safe but easy to get place................peace...............
