I have just gotten a 95 4runner with the 3.0 liter V6, 4wd etc. Very nice car really happy with it. Problem. When I am reading the oil level on the dipstick it looks like there is very little or no oil in the engine. I changed the oil yesterday (new filter) and put in the required amount of oil consistant with manfacturers specs. But the dipstick is still reading like its over a quart low. The amount of oil that came out of the engine was about 4.5 quarts so, is this a common problem for a 4 runner or is it a precurser to another issue. Any help would be apprieciated.
