'just got a 99 SR5 with that black plastic factory flared fender edge. I am thinking of getting them painted to match the body color (make it look kind of similar to the Limited model). Also, thinking of installing after market availablesyntheticwood dash. Anyinput on theseideas, pls. What would be a good reasonably priced brand of this dash? Thanks in advance for any advice.

Thanks Ric! I don't have any digital pic ready as I just got the
vehicle, but will post soon. What do you think of the idea of
painting that flared fender edge thing?

eeek. my personal opinion is those wood grain dash kits look horrible! just wood grain in general in cars looks cheesy. but like i said, thats just my personal opinion

good luck with painting the wheel flares. it may have been easier to just have bought a truck with flares already matched. i think in the long run, the paint may chip off of that plastic material if not done professionaly.
