98 superhcharged SR5 - 12/11/2007 5:20:04 PM    85Scrambler   Posts: 4 Joined: 12/11/2007 From: Cleveland Status: offline I just purchased a nice 98 SR5 with the TRD supercharger and TRD headers on it and its got around 80k miles. The thing has some decent pickup for an SUV. I have heard that there is some maintenance that these superchargers need at around 90k miles. For instance the bearing on the snout and changing the gear oil. I have also heard that you maybe should send the worm gear in to be looked at? Anyone have some more experience with these that can fill me in? Thanks! Post #: 1
