I was wondering if I put a grill guard on how would it interact with the standard skid plate on a 2000 4Runner? I wanted to put both on and I was just curious as to whether or not they could both fit. The grill guard is a pretty standard full grill guard covering headlight and grill.

Sure, you can always do both. I would say you might have to do a little cutting though.

well, I'm pretty new to this, so what would you consider a little cutting? I'm not sure I'd be ready for that.

Yeah I would get my local respectable garage to go it. It might take a sanding disk or too, or maybe a torch so its better if they do it. Plus if they mess it up, they get to replace it. If you use the stock plastic, I would say a pair of sheetmetal sheers will be fine, remmeber measure twice, cut once.
