Installed aftermarket cd player now car alarm wont work? - 5/21/2008 4:56:55 AM    Ziggy3784   Posts: 8 Joined: 12/27/2007 Status: offline I recently replaced my stack radio in my 1995 4runner with an aftermarket kenwood cd player. When i wen to install the cd player i found that the wire harness adapter they sell did not connect to the original wire harness in the stock stereo. I found that there were two seperate connections going a computer then the computer connecting to the radio. To hook up an after market cd player I had to bypass the computer and use the two connections going into the computer. This was not a problem except for the fact that now my Keyless entry and alarm does not work. Does this have something to do with that computer or module or whatever. If anyone has any info on the subject it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Post #: 1
