I was driving the other day and crossed a very rough area of road. Now when i am driving and floor the gas pedal the transmission does not shift down and the engine stumbles only happens when i floor it. Any help would be of help? Thanks in Advance.

Maybe rattled or disconnected a vaccum, ground or something of that nature. First look around and make sure everything top and bottom is connected.

ALSO what year, motor etc...

It is a 96 4runner with 3.4 and 2 wheel drive. Have looked all over it and have found nothing loose or broken or just off. There is not much on the trans itself. Not very many vac. hoses to speak of at all on this ride.
