i have a 3.0 in my 91 and i have developed a dead cylinder and was wondering if there are any common problems with valve train or head gaskets. any info would be helpful.

i think there was a recall somthing to look into.  my moms 94 blew and the dealer replaced it for free.

im pretty sure it was 2nd, if u know ur way around an engine and have the tools u should be able to replace it urself

ill try the head gasket theory first. ill update u guys when i know more. goin wheelin on the 5th at tuttle creek kansas, i will pull the top end of when i get back.

well guys tuttle creek was wicked. good news , i didnt break anything. bad news is i finally pulled the top end off and it needs a motor. i am looking for a 3vze or i will rebuild it. let me know if anybody has a used one.
