i know that toyota offers a factory aftermarket supercharger for the tacoma 3400..i dont see why the same one woudlnt work for your truck....perhaps check in with them? i have seen quite a few of the tacomas with blowers on them...

TRD superchargers, they rule and they look so clean.

do they offer them for a wide range of applications? im not sure...like i said, ive only seen them on the 3400 tacomas...but they made a DRAMATIC difference..and they come with a 1 year warranty on your engine from the dealership!

skippy -> ???which one??? (3/22/2005 5:37:50 PM)

yer they do look smick but there for the 3400 unfotunatly in australia those motors only come in the hilux 4x4 ute since about 02 and in what we call the toyota prado (prar-doe) since about 98 and that changed to a 4.0 around 01-02 the 4runner/surf was stoped in 95 so am after somthing for the 3.0v6 but that doesnt look like its happining so i am gonna have to fabricate somthin up  skippy38433.7361458333

i have a trd series 1 supercharger for sale for the 3.4 yota engine. i cant aford to use it anymore because you have to run premium gas and it $2.80 a gallon where i live.i have the complete kit; belt, pulleys,injectors, brackets etc... i paid 2 G's for it. will sell for 1200.00

stevdra -> ???which one??? (8/6/2005 12:01:09 PM)

with that supercharger and the other stuff i had done i was putting 232horsies to the rear tires. i had it tested at car and truck pros. stevdra38570.5010763889

dude i'd supercharge it or look at doing a conversion the 3v-ze's ain't
that flash a motor, to many problems. 7mg's, 1jz's etc are suppost to
be a reasonably easy swap and would probably be cheaper then the turbo
or supercharger conversion plus they are better engines (7mg non turbo
is about 150 odd kw and 1jz's with turbo are more then that)

Keggo -> RE: ???which one??? (10/23/2005 5:06:43 PM)

There are superchargers for the 5vze, 22re, 3rze (possibly 2rze?), and I think for the v8's. There was no forced induction system specifically made for the 3.0L 3vze. You will definitely have to fabricate something.
