im a teenager who needs a truck

been told by 3 sources to get a 4-runner

2 decisions on 'em, first gen runner or a second gen runner

needs to be able to get through sand, climb rocks, and go mudding with as few incedents of getting stuck

need to be able to carry people around easily, and access my gear

also need as good of gas mialige as possible.

what should i get?

the first generation 4runner,(85-89) are the best for offroading , the 85 is a solid axle both from and back, witch makes it stronger then the rest but the ifs is just as good with a smoother ride on the highway, but it all comes down to personal preference. ive got both generations and me and my father inlaw both perfer the 85-89 models .
