i liked the looks of aftermarket grilles but hated the price. i wanted to update the look of the griller on my 87 and this is what i came up with:</P>

it might be kinda hard to see, but theres mesh behind it, i used gutter guard!</P>

 

did the same thing on my accord but i painted the mesh black.

 

It doesn't look bad... It looks pretty good! My friend did that with his Cougar in the lower valance... but, I think it looks good! That would be cool if you painted it to match the body.
