Default Refurbished 4Runner Radio

The light behind my 2000 4Runner Limited radio went out. I've had it looked at and there is an extremely complex circuit board back there. My only option seems to be buying a new $500 radio from Toyota. I've been looking for a refurbished radio. Any tips on where to go?

I am taking the stock radio and speakers out of my 2004 this Friday. Do you know if they will fit in your 2000?

Default 4Runner Radio

I think the years in common are 98-02. Thanks though. I found some at a good price at replacement radios.com

do you absolutely HAVE to go stock? i mean, dont get me wrong. i wanted my runner to be as clean and stock as possible, but a radio should be the flexible subject. If i were you, i would go for aftermarket. odds are you will be happier with it anyway
