Hi guys. I just picked up an 08 SR5 4runner V6. My question is about the timing belt. The maintenance schedule booklet that came with it said that the timing belt should be changed at 90k miles. But, it specified the V8 engine. Do the V6s need a timing belt change or do they have a timing chain that doesn't need replacement?



Edit. Sorry, I didn't initially read that this section of the forums was for enhancing the engine. Could a mod move it to the appropriate posting area? If not, I appreciate your responses despite my ignorance to this site.
