Need help on the second generation '95 'runner.
Talking about a 3.0 turbo diesel powered, but engine itself probably don't matter much.

There is supposed to be 2 types uf undercarriage.
One that allows 4WD on hard surfaces for better safety, but also has 2WD for fuel efficency.

The other, based on pickup hilux, has only 2WD capability on the road, and 4WD ment only for softer surfaces.
Can be used on hard surface, but the stresses on tyres, axles are great on bigger turns.

How can these two model be differed.
I would go and check it, but the car is being sold 800 miles away, dealers selling the car have one and only runner and don't know much of it. They just say 4WD.
