Roof cargo basket advice needed - 2020 4R TRD, no sunroof
 

I see too many cargo basket options online so I am requesting some guidance/advice from you.

My Beast is a black 2020 4Runner, TRD 4x4, 2 roof bars, 2 roof crossbars, no sunroof, and will live in North Texas with me 4ever.

Specs: I want
steel,
black,
windshield,
60-64 inch x 40-50 inch,
a greater number of bars on basket bottom is better than fewer (don't need full mesh),
shallow basket (<=6 inches), with easy install to the factory bars and crossbars on my Beast,
lights would be nice but not required, and
load capacity of at least 150lbs.

What brand and model in the middle price range ($300-$700) would be a great match to my specs?

Should I avoid a 2 piece basket?

Do the Toyota factory crossbars suck? Should I get aftermarket crossbars?

The span for the bar width is at 40 inches. Is a basket wider than 40 inches a bad idea?

I am a little concerned about some of the crossbar attachment rigs I've seen in photographs and want a model that melds with the Beast's factory crossbars as perfectly as possible.

If you decked out your Beast with something similar to my wish list and have some photos please share.
