Default Front Bumper

Drove in some deep snow and caught a lump of hardened snow on the underside of my front bumper. The whole assembly is plastic (2010 LTD) and there is a baseball sized indent now. Does anyone know if this can just be smoothed back out or does the whole front assembly need to be replaced. A bit disappointed at how little it took to do such serious damage. Many thanks for any thoughts/advice. -Matthew

Thanks for the heads up - got under there with a hair dryer and it did make the plastic more malleable but I still couldn't get the exterior smooth. Also, the bug grate which integrates with the assembly is loose as well so looks like it needs to go to the shop. Pieces is sort of hanging out. Appreciate the thought. -matthew malgari

The issue is "will i need to replace the whole front assembly" or can they straighten out that one corner piece and then fit the grate back in. All the electronics around the system seem to be working fine and there has been no electrical damage. Thanks again. -matthew malgari
