high reving start-up
 

I may need to post this on the engine side but thought I'd post it here first. I just bought a '99 with a 3.4 in it. When you start the engine it revs to around 1,500 rpms. After a couple of minutes it settles down to around 1,000. Anyone had this happen before or know what could be going on? I just hate for the motor starting at that high of a rpm COLD. Thanks for any help.
