New to this forum. I just purchased a 2004 Sport Edition V/6 4Runner, Galactic Gray, 23k miles and so far it's been great.A couple of questions, itseems strange to me that the gas and brake pedals are so close together. Has anyone modified the brake pedal to gain more clearance? I'm thinking of getting another pedal and cutting or bending the pedal pad area and shifting it over. The other annoying thing is the famous thud/clunk from the rear of the driveshaft after stopping and releasing the brake. I tried lubing the driveshaft yoke as stated on the forums but it still does it. Is there an update that the dealer will perform or do you just go to the dealer and bitch till they come up with a fix? Other than that it is a great ride.
