Rear window exploded.
2006 4runner limited 230,000 miles
Last month while I was parked with the AC running on a hot day, the rear window exploded. Glass everywhere inside and out. Scared the __ out of me. I was in a big field with no one around. I thought someone might have shot it out, but no one around that I could see. Don't know what caused it, unless it was in a bind from the rough roads.
Called the autoglass place to schedule a repair. They thought I was pranking them because another guy with a 2006 4runner had the same thing happen to him. They replaced both his and mine on the same day.
Has anyone else had this happen to the rear window?
