’05 Cargo Net

Hello:

Hopefully a silly question, BUT...I just picked-up an '05 V-8 Sport Ed 4Runner. I have a cargo net...it's easy to see how it clips-in near the rear seats, but I can not find any anchors for the 4 loops on the opposite side of the net. How do you attach these things? Thanks!

im sure that the instalation of the cargo net would be in the cargo net area, or in the owners manual. if not, i would go to the dealer and ask them...for the cost of that truck, the salesman shoudl helop you out!!

Yeah, you'd think, huh? This net even had "instructions" with it...they refer to attaching to "the four hooks at the bottom of the cargo base"...which does NOT lift or remove in this vehicle. I'll figure it out. Thanks!

At the rear of the cargo area on the sides of the interior panel there should be 4knob looking things (2 up high and 2 low). That is where the loops go around. They are not 'D' rings to clip into but rather knobs that the net ends loop around.

Yes...I see the "knobs" and the four loops, but the two "inner-most" loops do not reacj when strethced from side-to-side across the back. The D ring parts is pretty obvious, I am still stumped as to how it supposedly works...I guess it could work attching the hooks to the D-rings most forward and then stretching the net BACK toward the rear and hooking the loops...still don't think the inner-most loops will stretch across though. Thanks very much for the thoughts.
