1991 4-Runner will not run???????
 

Folks, maybe one of you had this problem before, they say that they were driving it and it quit, it doesn't have any spark!!!! They changed the distributor, still no spark, we put another coil and box on it. still no spark. I have the Haynes Repair Manual, read it completely. Is there something that we have missed???? Does the 1991 Toyota have an computer on it????
Haynes doesn't say anything about it. Thanks for any information you might add.

My 91 has a computer its a V6 I dont have a clue what the problem could be . How about the timing chain ???

so i would imagine that it is turning over but no fire. i have a problem sometimes my 4runner would turn over you could smell the gas but no fire. i found it to be the plug that goes into the distributor i would wiggle it and the truck would crank maybe not completely your case. i would trace that wire make sure your getting a good connection, unfortunately that is the best advice i can give you
