I have an '02 4runner SR5 that is stuck in 4WD. I noticed the pull from the front wheels today while driving around town and parkingand saw the indicator lights blinking as if the center diff lock and 4WD is attempting to engage. I checked the fluids and tried to disengage it while driving to no avail.

Is there a way to 'reset' or manually disengage the system? I want to try as much as possible before visiting the dealer to troubleshoot, any ideas?

Sounds like the same problem I am having with my 02 4Runner. I took it to the dealership. They charged be 200 bucks to disengage the 4x4 and go to 2x4. Said it needed a new ADD actuator. Total cost.... 2700 bucks. Ninja Please!!!!!
