Hi Everyone!

New to the forum... My wife has a 2006 4Runner Sport. We love the car. The other day I was driving it at night and noticed something odd on the passenger airbag light. The wold "Airbag" was illuminated while the word "Passenger" was not. It seems odd that only one of the words is lit up. I know this seems a little obsessisve/ compulsive, but it was bothering me. I asked the tech at the Toyota dealership and he shrugged it off telling me that only the "Airbag" light was supposed to be illuminated. He coule very well be right, but it seems like he didn't want to look into it.

Can anyone verify if the word "Passenger" should indeed be illuminated?

Airbag light should turn off if no passenger, check the owners manual its in there. No biggie though, thats probably why he shrugged it off. Just as long as its on with you have a passenger..
