4runner overdrive problem
 

I have a 92 4runner 4x4 automatic. My overdrive will not kick-in until I have driven 6-7 miles, then it does so smoothly.At that time the temp gauge has just reached operating temp. This year I have flushed the trans, and installed a new solenoid kit in the trans. It works great, and there was no metal in the pan.Is it possible the coolant sensor or trans temp sensor is bad? Help.

does the od light come on and does ur speedometer work?
