'98 4runner Driver Headlight OUT?!?!

greetings,

new to the forum. i have a '98 toyota 4runner limited that recently had the driver side headlight go out, but the high beams function normally on both sides. the turning signals also work fine. am i right to think that the bulb just needs replacement? why does the high beam light work then? are there two different bulbs, one for general headlight one for high beams?

is there a problem with the fuse or wiring, instead?

i bought a replacement bulb for the headlight, but found out that it's not as easy as replacing the rear bulbs. if any one knows the best way to do this i would really appreciate it; otherwise, any suggestions with this situation would be appreciated. thank you and happy new year.

Dude, its a headlight for christ's sake. Replace it and move on. This ain't that tough.
