own a 2006 4runner , had new brakes and rotors installed front/rear. they squeal like crazy and brakes must be applied alll the way to stop. why the squeeking ? any other probs i have with brakes ? thanx

I would go back to the shop that did the work.

There are a few reasons that new brake pads squeak -

cheap pads
metal shims not replaced (pads vibrate around)
pads glazed from panic stop

The pad going all the way down means the brake fluid lines have air bubbles or are contaminated with water.

You'll need to bleed the brake lines to get fresh fluid in them.

Agree, sounds like they did a bad job on that, hope it's solved.
