After replacing my battery, my electric door locks will not engage immediately. I must drive about 8 minutes, then they will lock when the button is pressed. Even longer time to engage when it is raining or if not driven in 4 days. Have anyone had this experience?

 

check the battery connection and the door lock control. On my 90', it's right underneath the steering wheel, under the dash.
