Engine Code question
 

1999 Toyota 4Runnr Lmt
3.4L
engine light came on then went off. Auto Zone checked and pulled
(PO172 System Too Rich Bank 1) and
(P1133 Manufacturer Contrl Fuel air Metering)
The man at Auto Zone did not know much about it but printed me the codes......
I do lose power during exceleration every once and a while with a couple underhood backfires...
Spark plugs have been changed with no difference.....

CEL(CHECK ENGINE LIGHT)
IF YOUR ENGINE HESITATES WHEN U GUN IT.
THEN IT'S THE MAF SENSOR. (MASS AIR FLOW)
EASY TO REPLACE, ONLY TWO SCREWS.
IT'S ON THE INTAKE TUBE BETWEEN THE AIR BOX AND TOP OF ENGINE.
$150 FROM DEALER SHIP.
