Fuel economy for 4.0l V6

Hi everyone, just picked up a 2003 SR5.
What does the onbard display usually show with the fuel fully topped off for the range and the mpg?
For some reason when I'm driving locally my display shows I'm getting 10 mpg, Is that normal?
I thought the the fuel economy was 17/21 city/highway.
If there is a problem, does anybody have a remedy?

Thanks

Do it the old fashioned way. Take the miles you drove VS. the # of gallons and figure it out.

Is the display reset-able? If it is try that. My '05 SR5 with the 4.0(auto) gets about 18.5-19 city and about 22.5-24 hwy. But I do run only 93 octane and it has had mobil1 in it since I put it in at 2500 miles. What gas are you using? Ever clean out your fuel system?
