lift question

I just bought an 89 4runner and want to lift it. I dont want to go to high seeing as its my daily driver so I was thinking of doing a 2" suspension lift. Just need to know what I should do for the lift and If I will be able to fit 32x11.5 mudterrains underneath without to much rubbing. Is this feasable? So far Ive found 1.5" torsion bar lift for the front and 2" leaf spring lift for the back.

RE: lift question

I have a 90 4runner and I was able to puta buddies32x11.5on with no problems ( 8" wheel), I couldstear to the stops and not rub. I just replaced the rear ciol springs to bring up the rear so it now sits level. I now want to see if I can get 33"x ? and not rub.

RE: lift question

The lift you have found will get your 4Runner to sit even and allow room for the bigger tires. Thats the lift I started out with but I got bored with it really fast. Post some before and after pics when you get done.

RE: lift question

jawalker1106----im curious of this too man. I got a 92 4-runner with a inch sus lift, but I was 2 inches of body lift, so I can put some 35s on it. I have plans in the future to upgrade motor and tranny, but still will be an auto. I would think they dont sell a kit because its pretty much a made to order thing. The linkages and such might cost quite a bit more then the regular kit, my only thought.

RE: lift question

I am looking to lift a 2000 Runner and put 32" or 33" tires on as well. I want it to be practical (not rub), perform offroad, and also ride smooth while on roads/highways.

Any suggestions? Sky-jacker, pro-comp, toytec,....etc?

2" 3" 4" ???

Thanks in advance foradvice and pictures!
