loss of power
 

help new to owning 4runner and have no pwer when i step on the gas seems like the distributor not advancing gas milage went down no lights (check engine)

Is it a 3.0, auto trans Give me alittle more info !!

3.0 auto 4x4 1994 went to have smogged distributor advanced to much would not pass xowner took to his mech. and he reset timing to pass also said that it needs to warm up before putting on test has what seems to be 3 inch exaust through flowmaster and same size cat new? to large exaust can that hurt? 31x10.50 15 tires

The 3in exast should help ! I have a cat back 2in flowmaster its better than stock.I run the same tires in the winter asyours,summertime I run 32X11.50X15 They cut back my performance just a little & gas mileage but not enough to bug me!!
Did it pass IM ? Ya might want to give it a tune up plugs,wires,cop & roter If nothin helps take it to a good tune op shop and get a diagnostic done . Sorry but thats all I can think of now
