New Member 1996 Under Carriage Rust question please
 

I am about to purchase a 1996 sr5. It came out of wilmington north carolina (beach) where it was most of its life.

The vehicle has rust but nothing on the body at all. Nothing in the wheel weels nothing on the doors.

Most evident is on the inner wheel rims, spare tire rim, muffler, alittle on the axles.

Is this something that I have to worry about? Will it get worse, It is no longer in the beach area at all and has not been for a year or 2. Thanks for the help

Rust never sleeps, so you gotta take care of it. POR-15 is your friend. Fortunately, all of your rust spots are either detachable or consumable. Except the axles, need to treat thoseASAP.
