OEM alarm question, I opened the door w/the key!

[:@]I locked my 00/4runner with the OEM alarm w/the clicker. I opened the door with the key foolishly. NOW the only thing that works is if I open the doors with the clicker. If I try to lock the doors with the clicker "it will not work" I think this has something to do with myhaving opened the doors with the key.Any input is appriecated!! TIA!

TRY TURNING THE KEY BACK AND FORTH SEVERAL TIMES IN THE DOOR KEY CYLINDER.
AT THE SAME TIME PRESS LOCK/UNLOCK ON YOUR CLICKER(TRANSMITTER).

IF THIS DOESN'T WORK DISCONNECT THE BATTERY FOR 20MIN.

LET ME KNOW, GET BACK.

Rakeish, my friend, thanks for the advice. I tried disconnecting the battery for a few hrs and that didnt work. (I thought it might reset the system) I also tried the key/clicker interaction @ yor suggestion to noresolve. I got asecodary "clicker" on ePAY and the directions for programming that ME or any of my pals could never figure out. It was like turn the ignition on 3 times, open and close thedrivers door 5 times, turn the lights on twice, turn the iginition on again while youmanually shut off the dome yadayadayada REALLY! none of us could follow the directions to attain the program.
LET ME KNOW, GET BACK.
Thanks for the help. I'm hoping its not the actuater(sp) but in my mind the door would'nt open @ all if it was.

the steps for programming the remote must be done quickly. dont allow more than a few seconds to pass between steps.
