Problems with my 97 4Runner

I've got a '97 4Runner and I'm having a problem with what seems to be the left front tire sticking. It idles in Neutral, it will usually move in reverse fine as well. It will also idle and move in drive until I give it gas. When I give it gas, it will stick, even to the point where the back tires spin. My dad and I don't see how it could be the transmission and when I spoke to a friend who works on cars, he said he thought it was a bad sensor.

So I was gonna see what you guys thought. What's the problem and how much will it cost to fix it?

RE: Problems with my 97 4Runner

$10 says your caliper is frozen or the system is showing signs of contamination..Could be a cheap fix if just the caliper..If the system is contaminated you would need to flush out the system asap to ensure any further damage..
