Rear Axle bearing spacer ring
 

Hello All, I am new to the forum. I have a 4runner gen 3 1996 SR5.
I am replacing the brake assembly because of rust and being flooded with fluid. I bought a press and helper tool and removed ABS gear and spacer, then I removed the brake assembly from the axle pretty easy. I am currently trying to put the bearing spacer ring back on and I am within a quarter of an inch or less to be able to put the snap ring in. It will not let me press any more. i do not know what to do. This is my 4th time doing this. Please help-!!!!
