Hi all,

I recently bought a 93 4runner (LN130R) with some friends to drive from australia to scotland. So far it's doing a bang up job. i have noticed though the synchromesh on third is starting to get a bit dodgy, and it's even slipped out of third a couple of times. At the moment it's not a huge problem, but we're only in cambodia and still have quite a way to go.

My question is basicaly is this a common problem? And is there a way to fix it before it gets worse and we end up with no third gear.

Any help/insight would be greatly appreciated, cheers.
