URD Rear Sensor Simulator?
Anybody tried this?
http://urdusa.com/index.php?cPath=66..._id=1260519006 My reason for asking is I've got a 2000 4Runner with the V6, California emissions. I live in North Carolina. The check engine light is on and the mechanic says the catalytic converter is bad and it's $1600 to replace it with a factory unit. What I need to do is get the check engine light off so it will pass inspection. I wouldn't consider this if I lived in California, but I'm on the right coast. I'm wondering if anybody has had any experience with this part. |
Well, this forum appears to be dead, but I'll post this just in case someone is looking for an answer in the future...
The simulator worked. I've had it on about a month now with no check engine light. Got the truck inspected today with no issues. Very pleased so far. |
