WON'T START! 2002 4runner. Clicked once.

When I turned the key this morning, It tried to turn over and then clicked just once. Then the alarm started going off. I don't use my key fob(no battery in it). Now, when I turn the key I get nothing. But the alarm goes off anytime the door is opened. Anyone experience something like this?
