Hey guys...glad I found this site. Just bought a new vehicle and would like to put TRD parts. Not sure which part to start with to get improved power and mileage. Should I start with the TRD Exhaust system or TRD Cold air intake? The dealer says that TRD is the best aftermarket part since it is made for Toyota? Any thoughts?

 

Of course they will say that. $$$$. I don't have experience with the upgrades yet. I would like to do the same as well. I've heard nothing but good things on K&N CAI (cold air intake) but I was waiting for comments on the TRD Performance brand to compare. Between those two I think its going to come down to price.

The stock exhaust is made to reduce the noise. Most aftermarket equipment beefs up the sound so, what are you looking for? Do you want an improved CAI system with the current exhaust? Would you like to start with exhaust performance and a better sound? What is your priority?
