Overhead console
 

Hello all,
Just traded in an 01 Grand Cherokee for an 06 4Runner. What a spectacular difference !!!
However the 4Runner has no compass. Hard to believe an off road vehicle does not have a compass. I have a compass/mirror but I'm going to sell it. Instead Iwant to replace the overhead console with another with a compass & homelink. I can't get the console off. There are no screws, even in the glasses compartment where someone said they were. I tried prying it off to the point I thought it would break. ???? Also I'm gonna need a switched 12v, constant 12v & a door switched 12volt. There's a courtesy light up there is there wiring near the overhead? If not anyone have a color code for the wiring in the kickpanel?
