16th b-day 4runner....

1994 hunter green 4runner... I"ve always wanted a green tahoe but this is good enough... what are some things that 4runners have on tahoes? I also want some advice on what i should do to jack up my truck.. I live in TN and true masculinity comes in the form of having a big truck.. thanks guys

Hm... let's see... "good enough"?? I'd take a broken down and stripped 4runner before I set hands on a Tahoe. Just as Patrick said, you hear more about long lasting 4runners than Taschmoes. Anyway, welcome... I have a '91 4Runner with about 194,000 on the clock.

thanks guy, the 2 dr hunter green tahoe always appealed to me but i like my 4runner.. i need to make look a little better.. what would be be better a body or suspension lift.. i heard the suspensions aer the way to go but they ride rough.. and if i add a 4" lift what size tres could i fit on?

RE: thanks

I prefer suspension over body lifts. It all depends on what springs and shocks you go with. I have '97 FZJ80 (Landcruiser) rear coils in the rear of my 4Runner, they net me about 3" - 3.5" of lift in the rear. I have ball joint spacers in the front that give 1.5" of lift. I also have Rancho RSX shocks all around. I had to figure out which ones fit and modify them a little bit, but they ride really good.
