Default Copy a master key

I have a question on keys then. I lost my backup master key to my 2004 Sport. Is there an alternative to taking it to a dealer? They wanted to charge me 169 bucks to simply copy 1 key! I called a locksmith and they wanted 200.

I wouldn't wait around for a reply from the OP, his post was 5 years ago and he only has 4 posts. I doubt he's around here anymore.

Yeah I won't hold my breath. As an update, however, I called around a little and found a locksmith that will do it for 120. I think this is still a huge rip and am dumbfounded by the lack of anger by car customers for the blatant fleasing. There's no way in he'll people should be charged 100-1000 dollars for lost keys!!! I don't care what kind of chip is in it. The RFID chips only cost a few cents.
