Just wanted to start my stay here at 4RF on the right foot by introducing myself. My name is Brad, and I currently do NOT own a 4Runner. However I have owned an '88 Toyota Xtra Cab SR5 4x4 v6 (which was stolen). I loved that truck, and am looking very seriously about getting a 1st Generation 4Runner.

I was bitten by the "Mod Bug" several years ago, and am all too aware that once you start, it's almost impossible to stop. I am hoping to have my 4Runner real soon, however till that time comes I will just have to settle by checking out all of your rides.

Hello and welcome, Brad! I'm also a newbie here, and thought it would be cool to talk to others who share my vehicle interests. I currently have two '95 4Runners, one stock, and one which received an enormous bite from your "mod bug" (LOL). It's in the process of having its wimpy V6 replaced by a big ole 350 V8, to go with the solid axle swap and leaf spring conversion it already has. Good luck on your 1st Gen. 'Runner--hope you find a good one!
