Just wanted to make a quick introduction. I got an 89 runner about a year ago and finally got around to registering it in my name about a month ago. the PO (self admittingly) wasnt much of a mechanic and just started taking things apart when the motor quit (22re). He said either the MAF sensor went out or it jumped time (uh oh, interference motor). I got it for free though and its got a clean body, and now a clean title, so i cant complain. potential plans are for a 4.3 swap or something similar in the new year, 2011, unless someone just happens to have an extra 22re laying around LOL. We'll see.
