I just swapped a nice boat for a '96 SR5 5 speed with 211,000 miles - Arizona truck with no rust. Wanted a Jeep, Dakota or 4Runner as a 2nd car for boat towing and winter travel. My work-issued Dodge Grad Caravan is a little light in the drive train and traction to handle my 17.5' Slickcraft boat.

Been working at getting her straightened out - rear axle seals, new rear brakes, complete fluid change out. Pulled and sold off the cheap looking and garish chrome aftermarket wheels and put on some perfect steelies that were new 2011 Tacoma takeoffs. Put on some 90% tread Goodyear Eagles for a nice quiet ride. Looks and drives much more civilized! Now to go after a wheel bearing or some such that rumbles starting about 45 mph and really gets after it at 70 mph. Not looking forward to the bill on that one!

Anyhow, happy to be here and hoping to take part in the chatter here!
