irecently purchased2001 Toyota 4Runner SR5 2wd... it already has 16" Centerline wheels with 245/75R16s on it... what is the biggest size tire you can go on these stock 2wd 4runners?? i'd like to go 265/70R16s (30.6) or 265/74R16 (31.6) if possible...

i used to own a 2001 Toyota Tacoma PreRunner and biggest you could go would be a 32" tire with the pinch weld mod...

 

I havean '06 4 Runner. My understanding is that the spec on the rims are the same from 96 -06. I'm not sure onthe offset of 2 WD, but isn't an issue in this case. Stock tires are 265/70R16sso you should be good for that at least I'd think.
